This is a Projects on a Page ten-slide PowerPoint presentation template. Use it to showcase children’s D&T work. You can also use this presentation template to gather evidence for self-review purposes and to present children’s work to parents.
Also included is a demo presentation, showcasing a project called ‘Teddy’s Safety Jacket’.
Projects on a Page template
- Title page – include the project title and the aspect of D&T you are focusing on
- Introduction – describe why you chose to teach this project and the D&T that had led up to it
- Key learning – outline what you wanted children to learn
- User, purpose and context – who was the intended user and what was the purpose of your product?
- Investigative and evaluative activities – list activities, including any cross-curricular links
- Focused tasks – list activities, including any cross-curricular links
- Design, make and evaluate assignment – what were the stages of the design and make process?
- Children’s products – include a range of images showing children’s completed products
- Resources and vocabulary – list the tools, equipment, materials and technical vocabulary you used
- Project evaluation – which aspects went well? What would you improve?
