For the first time in KS2, the new curriculum asks us to think about how living things have changed over time and to recognise that living things produce offspring of the same kind but who vary and are not identical to their parents. We are also asked to identify how animals and plants have adapted to suit their environments, and that adaptation may lead to evolution. If you’re looking for an interesting way to explore these ideas with your class, here are some suggestions.
