‘Many children will be familiar with the tradition of rolling decorated eggs down grassy slopes at Easter time. The game is associated with the Christian symbol of rolling away the stone from Christ’s tomb before his resurrection and is played in countries throughout the world. We can use a modified version of ‘pace-egging’, as it was called, to investigate forces in an enquiry at KS1.’
