This 20-question algebra activity for KS3 or KS4 can be either used to get students out of seats and moving around the room doing maths, printed smaller and used as a table activity. To be used as an ‘out of seats’ activity, print the 20 factorising questions A4 size and stick randomly round the classroom. Students are each given a starting letter. When a question has been answered, the student needs to find the answer at the top of another sheet, this will be the next question in their treasure hunt. When they have completed all questions they should end up back where they started, making a note of the question order (letter on the sheet) as they work.
