This pack turns the poem into a mini performance, with the lines of the poem being narrated and broken up using improvised scenes, mime, and short role-plays.

It works well with KS1 and KS2, as they enjoy the gruesome nature of it, and can be used as part of a school assembly on ‘telling lies’, or to support exploration of narrative poetry.
