Lower Grange Farm is located in Maidstone, Kent, on 30 acres of fields. The farm offers a variety of outdoor learning activities. Some of the activities are self-led, while others are lead by an instructor.
Lower Grange Farm upholds the belief that every young person is deserving of adventurous experiences. It offers activities and experiences designed for both schools and colleges, from Key Stage 1 to FE.
Lower Grange Farms offers some of the best climbing trips in the Kent area, with bouldering, top-rope climbing, lead climbing, and abseiling available.

Minimum and maximum group size
Lower Grange Farm can accommodate groups of as few as six people and as large as 150 people.
Climbing group sizes range from 10 to 24 participants.
Lower Grange Farm also runs an outreach programme that brings some adventurous activities and experienced staff to school settings.

Every Lower Grange Farm instructor is qualified and DBS-reviewed. Lower Grange Farm is accredited with the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge and Adventuremark.
Kent Scouts operate Lower Grange Farm, and the venue follows the association’s safeguarding policy.
Anyone visiting Lower Grange Farm as part of a youth organisation should know that all adults over 18 are required to undergo the relevant checks and training, including DBS checks.

Facilities On-Site
The facilities at Lower Grange Farm include a climbing centre, a modern conference room, and a barn for large indoor activities and events. In addition, there are 30 acres of fields for camping and various activities.

Lower Grange Farm offers its 18th-century barn to large groups. Smaller groups are welcome to use the conference room with its heated floors.
Camping is available for group residential trips at Lower Grange Farm. Students can pitch their own tent, or Lower Grange Farm can provide camping equipment for you, including the kitchen mess tent; all your students need to bring are their sleeping kits.
Two bunkrooms for group residential trips are also available, sleeping four and eight people. Both have underfloor heating, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Opening Times
Lower Grange Farm is open 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Their opening hours are 9am to 5pm.

Lower Grange Farm is set on more than 30 acres of countryside and is conveniently located near Junction 6 of the M20.
Right in the heart of Kent, Lower Grange Farm is approximately 40 miles from both Central London and the Port of Dover.
There is ample car and coach parking available on the Lower Grange Farm premises.
