What will students see and do?

Lost Earth Adventures is an outdoor adventure activity company operating in a range of locations around the UK, including the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District, the Lake District, Norfolk and Wales.

The team offers tailored, curriculum-linked adventure programmes in wild locations, lasting anywhere from three hours to three weeks. Activities on offer include:

– Climbing and abseiling
– Caving
– Canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding and raft building
– Gorge walking and canyoning
– Hiking and navigation courses
– Mountain biking and cycling
– Archery

These activities are designed to boost pupils’ self-esteem, confidence and teamwork skills.

Lost Earth Adventures offers downloadable PDFs documents which explain the learning objectives and outcomes of each activity they provide.


Minimum and maximum group size

There is no minimum or maximum number of students required for a Lost Earth Adventures trip.


Details of risk assessment

To help keep students safe, Lost Earth Adventures has detailed risk assessments available for every activity it runs. Teachers are able to download and read through the risk assessments prior to registering for a school trip.

The organisation holds an Adventurous Activities Association License, meaning all staff and instructors are fully qualified.

Lost Earth Adventures has full product and public liability insurance policies. Plus, all staff that work with children have undergone extensive DBS checks. Finally, the company has a child protection policy in place to keep students safe at all times.
