Teaching resources provided
Since Galina International Study Trips are organised completely overseas, the company offers teachers full support in planning primary and secondary school tours. This includes selecting appropriate travel destinations and coming up with additional supporting activities for students to participate in.
Galina Study Trips staff also participate in all the activities, supporting teachers with supervision and learning.
Minimum and maximum group size
Since Galina International Study Tours are designed to take students abroad, they’re best suited for groups of around 20-25 pupils. This allows all students to actively participate in the tour and receive individualised attention.
For local tours aimed at primary school groups, the recommended number of pupils in a group is 25-30 students. But as these trips are closer to home, some may be more appropriate for larger groups.
Groups smaller than 12 are not recommended, and they will not be eligible for group discounts. Plus, many activities require a minimum number of participants in order for teachers to book them as part of their school trip.
Keep in mind that teachers are not included in the maximum group size, and that you should maintain an adult to pupil ratio.
Details of risk assessment

Additionally, the facility has accreditations and licensures including ATOL, ABTA, STF and LOtC, all of which are regularly reviewed and updated. Regular safety audits are also carried out on all facilities, travel arrangements and processes run by Galina.
