What will students see and do?
Danson Watersports Centre in Bexleyheath, south-east London, offers a wide range of activities, including sailing, kayaking, canoeing and bell boating. The activities are suitable for children aged eight and over, no matter their skill or ability level.
Try a two-hour taster session, a multi-activity enrichment day or an accredited course such as Edexcel GCSE PE kayaking.
How does the trip link to the curriculum?
The activities on offer contribute to key aspects of the PE national curriculum. Students will be challenged intellectually and physically and the sessions promote competence, confidence, communication, teamwork, leadership, trust, decision making and problem solving skills.

Minimum and maximum group size
The activity centre can cater for group sizes ranging from eight to 96.
Details of risk assessment
Risk assessments are available on request. Centre staff are NGB and first aid qualified, DBS enhanced checked and experienced in working with all ages and abilities, including disability groups.
