What will students see and do?
Take to the water to enjoy activities aboard a kayak or canoe or try stand up paddle boarding at Canoe Trail in Bedford.
This family-run business encourages kids to test out their skills on the water and learn something new by providing a safe and secure environment in which they can confidently learn.
As well as learning how to canoe or kayak, children will be able to put their new skills to the test with some fun kayak and canoe games, and will even get the chance to learn how to build a raft or try out a paddle board.
Back on dry land, there is a range of other fun outdoor woodland activities to keep kids entertained for a day or longer. Choose from activities such as a low ropes course, bushcraft skills to use in a survival situation including learning how to build a shelter and light a campfire, hiking and orienteering.
Other new experiences for kids to enjoy include zorbing and pioneering, where they will discover how to work as a team to build a structure from ropes and wood.
Canoe Trail Bedford offers flexible options so you can tailor your trip. There are options for both a day school trip and a residential trip. Residential students can enjoy wild camping at Canoe Trail’s woodland site, including discovering the joy of campfire cooking.
