What will students see and do?
Looking for school trip ideas offering outdoor learning opportunities for students in Foundation Stage to A-Level? Visit an award-winning eco centre at CEES Stibbington Centre.
An educational visit to Stibbington will teach students about environmental responsibility through imaginative play and interactive experiences.
Groups can schedule day trips or school residential visits that offer hands-on learning experiences to support specific learning objectives.
Key Stage 1 students can take part in pond dipping, treasure hunt activities and games imagining life as Victorian children. Children in Key Stage 2 can learn about different renewable energy sources through the site’s energy trail. Other activities will take children fossil hunting or to the River Nene where they will take part in practical field work.
CEES courses are rated outstanding by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom’s Quality Badge assessment. School activities aim to boost knowledge, as well as teach practical skills through team building activities and courses on the benefits of eating healthily.
Pupils will improve their confidence and self-esteem through fun social skills activities. Meanwhile, programmes in the on-site wildlife garden and play area will help children learn about sustainable lifestyles.
