What will students see and do?
An adventure with 321dive involves a week-long trip to one of its resorts in either Sharm-el-Sheikh, Dahab or Lanzarote. Students will first complete a PADI diving qualification before heading on to enjoy more expansive recreational dives for the rest of the week.
Depending on the resort, students may be swimming with turtles and dolphins, watching camels passing by at breakfast during rush hour, or exploring the wrecks of fishing boats. Dives take place in sheltered reefs while pupils are learning, and then later there is the option to progress to dive boats once they become more confident.
All of the diving instruction is carried out in the sea by highly qualified instructors and in small pupil groups (typical ratios are 1:4 to 1:6).
How does the trip link to the curriculum?
Biology, geography, PE and PHSE departments can all be supported on a trip.
Dive sites are chosen to match the unit or topic being taught, and resources will be provided to the teachers. You may, for example, go on a specific fish identification dive to focus pupils on their study of ecosystems and habitats in biology, or take a geography class to examine the ancient lava flows in Lanzarote.

Trips leaders are provided with 321dive’s Risk Management System – a comprehensive journal that provides all of the risk assessments, trip planning documents and templates that you need to market the trip to pupils and parents.
321dive is an ABTA holder, audited independently by PADI and has £10 million Public Liability and Professional Liability Insurance.
