Enrich your students’ science education with a free, curriculum-linked space science workshop at your school, led by the National Space Academy’s expert Space Advocates
As part of the UK Space Agency’s Space to Learn programme, the National Space Academy is bringing hands-on space science sessions to secondary schools across the UK.
These sessions are fully funded, offered as full or half days and use the exciting context of space to get students engaged with science and other STEM fields.
Hands-on workshops
Our workshops are aimed at students aged 11 to 16 (half-day sessions) and 16 to 18 (full-day sessions). They highlight the science, scope and possibilities within the space industry, and are delivered by specially trained teachers equipped with a fantastic kit package, offering excellent hands-on learning opportunities.
Choose your topic
Our workshops complement curriculum learning and enhance understanding of different areas of space science. Choose from topics including ‘Life in Space’, ‘Asteroids’, ‘Human Spaceflight’ and more.
Sessions are tailored to the working level of the students, and we’re always happy to discuss how we can meet specific needs.

Join us at Space Camp
Want to give your students an immersive, multi-day space education experience? Book in a group for one of our free non-residential Space Camps, featuring practical science education, talks from STEM professionals and other exciting activities.
Previous camps have included everything from SCUBA to rocket launching – the stars are the limit!
Explore space careers
At our free one-day careers conferences, your students will learn about the amazingly diverse range of space sector careers out there, and get to explore the skills needed for, and possible pathways into, various different roles.
Conferences take place across the UK and include workshops, activities and speakers from relevant industries.
