Circles for Learning is a unique project that focuses on supporting schools in developing the five essential areas that underpin positive emotional wellbeing.
It brings together a parent and their young child and a class of KS1–KS3 pupils to create a time and space to allow them to watch and interact once a month for a whole year.
This amazing experience allows children to watch relationships in action, observe and explore emotions and how they impact on our thinking and behaviour, see how our sense of self develops, and watch learning unfold – all areas that research shows are vital to positive emotional wellbeing and mental health.
“Building positive foundations for mental health and wellbeing, enabling children to flourish and learn.”
Backed by 10 years of development by leading educational psychotherapist, and writer of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Teachers Toolkit, Alison Waterhouse, the Circles for Learning Project is an investment in the future of our young people, nurturing a generation that is emotionally intelligent, socially connected and academically empowered.
