On Wednesday 18 December at 2pm, BBC Bitesize are hosting a special end-of-term livestream Christmas quiz. You and your class can play along on Kahoot against schools across the UK and even get yourselves on camera on the multi-screen background!
The 45-minute livestream will be hosted by CBBC star and TikToker Joe Tasker, who will take you through a number of questions surrounding pictures of young people’s favourite celebrities and sport stars where they have to work out whether the image is real or made by AI. Can you and your students work it out in time?
The quiz comes from the Other Side of the Story team, who provide resources about misinformation, fake news and help students understand everything from algorithms and unconscious bias to echo chambers.
And best of all, this isn’t limited to simply one class – you can get whole year groups or even entire schools involved too! All you will need is the live link we will send, your laptop in front of the class and a separate device to work Kahoot.
