An easy way for teaching staff to earn extra money in the holidays

Ultimate Activity Camps

For teaching staff the school holidays are a very welcome and needed break after a busy term of teaching, class preparations and pastoral care for the children they teach.

With several weeks break in the summer, once the oh-so-necessary relaxation, recovery and holiday trip has been enjoyed, and updating lesson plans ticked off the list… what next?

With the rising cost of living, and more and more teachers carrying student debt, the summer holidays can also offer an opportunity to earn some supplementary income to help cover costs, pay debt and top up the summer holiday or savings fund.

There are many options for holiday work for teachers but what if there was one that was social, fun, mainly outdoors and a great opportunity to deepen your pastoral care skills?

Welcome to summer activity camps (aka holiday clubs) where teaching staff can put their care skills into practice, learn new activities and enjoy working with children where fun is the name of the game.

And definitely no curriculum or targets to worry about!

Ultimate Activity Camps is a leading Ofsted-registered provider of holiday activity camps for four to 14-year-olds at 40 amazing venues across south and central UK.

It’s always looking for teaching, coaching and Early Years staff who want to make children’s lives as positive as possible through activities and social fun.

What’s in it for you?

  • Various positions for both qualified and unqualified teaching and Early Years staff
  • Earn up to £675/week depending on experience and qualifications
  • Flexible working options – work what you can when you can!
  • Work in a fun and rewarding environment
  • Option for free paediatric first aid training
