In a world where children grow up and move on each year, there’s something comforting about repeats of your favourite TV show.
Turn on the TV at any hour and on some channel or other you’ll find reruns of The Simpsons, Friends and all of those home and garden makeover shows where Linda Barker, Alan Titchmarsh or Kirsty and Phil will be turning some mess or other around (if only they did schools too, eh?).
