This letters with straight lines worksheet is designed to help children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 practise their letter formation. It focuses specifically on letters that are formed using straight lines.

The letters included are ‘v’, ‘w’, ‘x’, ‘k’, and ‘z’. These can sometimes be tricky for young learners due to their angular shapes and different stroke directions.
To support children’s handwriting development, the worksheet provides a dotted outline of each letter. This allows learners to trace over the lines to get a feel for the correct shape and movement.
