I SAW A WABUB meaning

I SAW A WABUB is an acronym that can help your pupils to recall subordinating conjunctions. Every letter represents a specific conjunction. These are:

FANBOYS meaning

In a similar way, the acronym FANBOYS can help your students remember coordinating conjunctions. Each letter stands for a different coordinating conjunction:

Print out these attractive superhero-themed worksheets for children to fill in. For activity 1 they need to fill in the blanks with the appropriate conjunction from FANBOYS or I SAW A WABUB. Keep in mind some conjunctions might fit multiple sentences!

Activity 2 involves writing two to three sentences or a short paragraph about whatever you like. Make sure to incorporate at least one conjunction from both the FANBOYS and I SAW A WABUB sets.
