Students will need to identify complete sentences, fragments, comma splices and run-on sentences. They’ll then need to write them out on the worksheet, using the correct punctuation.
They’ll also need to match up subjects and predicates to form complete sentences, then write them out using capital letters and full stops.
Sentence matching game for KS1
This game can be used to challenge KS1 students to practise their English skills and improve their knowledge of punctuation marks by including the relevant punctuation in their sentences, including question marks and exclamation marks.
SPaG board game for KS2
This printable SPaG board game will help children to identify errors in sentences, as well as writing their own statements and commands.
