What will students see and do?
Are your pupils up for an exciting adventure? There are lots of great workshops and fun learning experiences to try at Chessington World of Adventures.
Children will have an action-packed day in the theme park, zoo and SEA LIFE centre. There are over 40 rides, including Gruffalo and Elmer Elephant attractions, and over 1,000 animals to meet.
How does the trip link to the curriculum?
By taking part in Chessington’s educational workshops, Early Years pupils can discover the secret of creating memorable characters or learn about the habitats of sea creatures.
KS1 pupils can learn about habitats and food chains, while KS2 children can focus on forces, conservation and classification.
Secondary students can take part in workshops about habitats, conservation, rollercoaster physics and forces, maths, computing and business.

Download bug hunt and poetry resources from the website. You can also download free animal A-Z bunting, a schools map, permission slip and an information sheet to hand out to pupils.

Workshops are suitable for a minimum of 12 students.

Download a comprehensive risk assessment from the website. When booking a school trip you will receive two free teacher planning tickets so that you can visit the attraction to conduct your own risk assessment.

Facilities on-site
On site you’ll find lockers to store belongings, a first aid centre, restaurants, gift shops and free wifi.
