What will students see and do?
Taking your students on school trips to Spain is a great way to immerse them in the Spanish language and show them a different part of the world. It offers you a number of unique outdoor learning opportunities that can enhance pupils’ education and improve the effectiveness of your lessons.
There is an abundance of things to do in Spain, and when you book with Arbolar Centre, you can choose the activities that will make the most sense for your curriculum and lesson plans.
If you want your students to spend time speaking Spanish, you can opt for tours that take you to different towns and cities in Spain. This will give them an opportunity to practise speaking and listening skills.
You can also choose to engage your students in outdoor water sports such as canoeing, kayaking, and rafting, or you can go on nature walks and explore the beaches of Spain.
How does the trip link to the curriculum?
The Arbolar Centre offers a number of study trips that enable you to tie a visit in with your curriculum however you’d like.
PE teachers can choose study trips that focus on nautical sports.
Spanish language teachers can opt for an immersion program that helps students practise their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. They’ll have support from native speakers who will help take their Spanish to the next level.
Science teachers can choose activities that have an environmental focus, while history teachers can choose programmes that centre around teaching students the history of the area.
