What is it?
UK Parliament offers a wide range of free online and print resources, which link to the curriculum and support teaching about parliament, politics and democracy. They perfectly accompany UK Parliament’s other free education services, which include interactive workshops, CPD opportunities and events such as UK Parliament Week (1-7 November).
UK Parliament’s free resources support the curriculum in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. They include online and printed activities with accompanying teacher notes, orderable booklets, assembly PowerPoints, games, lesson plans, videos and much more.

- ‘Discover the UK Parliament 7-11’
A booklet packed with fascinating facts, games and fun learning activities that challenge pupils to explore the difference between rules and laws, and how they can get involved with their UK Parliament.
This interactive game, builds students’ understanding of the role of a Member of Parliament.
A great publication, providing older students with useful insights into how UK Parliament works.
This tells the story of women’s suffrage in the UK. Learn Live is a fun, interactive approach to engage young people with the work of UK Parliament.
The teaching materials, which have been designed to suit different styles of learning, empower primary and secondary educators to teach topics across the citizenship, history, SMSC, modern studies and politics curriculum.
You’ll also find a whole range of great topics of study on the website, including British values, black history, debating, and equality and diversity.
