Year 2 science worksheet questions

The first question on the worksheet asks children to name which common materials different items are made from.

In question 2, pupils need to choose two words from the following list to describe certain materials:

• Hard
• Soft
• Rigid
• Flexible
• Smooth
• Rough

Question 3 involves ticking which items can be stretched and twisted. Question 4 asks students to write down two materials that certain items could be made from and two materials that they should not be made from, and why.
